A moment

I wrote this poem for someone special I met in 2019. Sometimes God gives us a mate for life and sometimes, only for a while.

Love without Bounds

Not only on Valentines Day, but every day, I have to remind myself that my Christian advice, my loving correction to help others and my best attempts to 'do the right thing' in my pursuit of perfection will always fall short of selfless, Christ-like love. We are called, above all, to love souls well.

One day

In my third year of college, I wrote this blog post one quiet evening in my residence room. I am grateful for the privilege of dreaming and of serving a God of miracles. || 2015 I am only 22 years old, a young student, and yet it has been enough to be able to experience... Continue Reading →

The good fight of Faith

When you gaze at the sun, it makes everything else dark. When you taste honey, everything else is bland. So, when your soul feeds on Jesus, it takes away the sweetness of fleshly pleasures.

I am the eldest of two sisters (and a twin brother) and I’ve learned a lot about the world by having them in my life. Research even shows there are many proven benefits to sisters... Joy to the world!

Christmas Eve, 2018 This year, more than any other year in my life, I came to know God for the Holy savior that He is. I am so grateful for the little wisdom I gained this year and excited for what is to be learned in 2019. One of the things I realized around this... Continue Reading →
